We can install your cat-flap into any type of glass, wood or uPVC panel or door.
Fitting a cat-flap into glass:
When installing a cat-flap into a glass panel or door it’s important to understand that in nearly all cases we will have to replace the existing glass with glass that has been manufactured with a pre-made hole for the cat-flap.
Ordering new glass:
• One of our experienced glaziers will visit your property, then measure and assess the necessary work for us to fit a cat-flap.
• We will order the glass which takes 7 working days for delivery.
• Once manufactured, we will call to arrange fitting.
• We will replace your existing glass with the new glass containing your cat-flap (If you have double glazing, you can keep your old unit, should you need to have it put back in at a later date).
We only use safety glass in all replacement cat-flap double glazed units and they all come with a 5 year guarantee.
Fitting a cat-flap into wood:
When installing a cat-flap into a wood panel or door, this can nearly always be done in-situ if the wood is in good condition and is flat and without mouldings.
Fitting a cat-flap into uPVC:
When installing a cat-flap into a uPVC panel or door, this can nearly always be done in-situ if the uPVC is flat and without mouldings.
